Who operates STLFixer
STLFixer is operated independently by an individual. For service questions or privacy requests, email support@stlfixer.io.
Your STL files stay on your device
STLFixer reads and processes the STL you select in your browser. The repair tool does not upload your file contents, filename, mesh coordinates or repaired output to our servers. File information and the 3D preview are displayed locally. You retain control of your original and downloaded files. Clearing the tool does not delete files on your device.
Website access
Loading the website requires requests for pages, scripts, fonts and the repair engine. Hosting providers may process technical request information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, times and browser information to deliver and secure the site. This is separate from local STL processing. The website is hosted on Vercel. See Vercel’s privacy information.
Analytics and cookies
This version does not include Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, advertising or session replay. We will update this policy and provide applicable privacy controls before enabling analytics or advertising. Your STL contents and filenames must not be included in analytics events.
Contact emails
Messages to support@stlfixer.io are forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to the operator’s mailbox. We receive your sender address and the message or attachments you choose to send, to answer questions and handle requests. Emailing a model is separate from using the local repair tool. Please do not email confidential models or unnecessary personal information. Cloudflare and the receiving email provider process correspondence to deliver and store it. See Cloudflare’s privacy information. Contact messages are retained only as needed to handle the request, related follow-up and applicable legal obligations, rather than stored as a model library. We do not add you to a marketing list merely because you contact us.
Purposes, choices and rights
We use contact information to respond to your request and technical access information to operate and protect the service. Where applicable, this processing is based on our legitimate interests in providing support and maintaining a reliable website. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or object to processing. Contact support@stlfixer.io. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. We cannot retrieve a model that the tool never received; you manage local copies on your device. Service providers may process information in countries other than yours, subject to their applicable arrangements.
Changes
We will update this policy when our actual data practices change. The last-updated date identifies the version of this policy.
